10 additional essential vitamins – including a complete B-vitamin complex from natural yeast sources – supports normal energy metabolism.
13 minerals – sourced from hydroponically grown Indian Mustard plant – provides standardised, optimum levels of food-based minerals that your body is designed to recognise and use efficiently.
Powerful phytonutrients – derived from broccoli, cranberry juice, grape extract and aloe vera – helps the body’s absorption and use of vitamins and minerals.
Why is hydroponics so important?
Some minerals are sourced from rocks. Some are taken from salts. But the minerals in Phytomatrix tablets are from plants. They are harvested using a patented hydroponic process, in which Indian mustard sprouts are grown in a solution of highly concentrated minerals. This allows for standardised levels of minerals to be taken into the sprouts and digested by the plant as a food form. This way, your body recognises them so they can be more easily absorbed and digested.
What are phytonutrients, and what does “standardised phytonutrients” mean?
Phytonutrients, sometimes referred to as phytochemicals, are any chemical derived from a plant source. Many phytonutrients can have a beneficial effect on health. Standardised phytonutrients means that the ingredient is delivered using a quality controlled process so that you are ensured of receiving a consistent amount with every serving.
What is hydroponic technology, and how does it affect the benefits of PhytoMatrix multivitamin and mineral supplement?
Hydroponics is a technology for growing plants in nutrient solutions, with no other support. Traditional agricultural systems grow plants in solid forms of support such as soil, peat moss, sawdust, etc. Hydroponic techniques allow for precise water and nutrient application directly to the roots of each plant. The hydroponic process for the mineral blend in PhytoMatrix® tablets allows for controlled uptake of concentrated minerals, which can be stored in plant tissues. The human body is designed to best utilise nutrients from real food sources. The exclusive hydroponic process utilised by Mannatech provides concentrations of essential minerals that can provide the minimum daily requirements with one daily serving (four tablets). This is very significant because even fresh fruits and vegetables, which usually have high concentrations of vitamins, may be low in essential minerals.
How do PhytoMatrix tablets compare with Phyt•Aloe® capsules?
Our PhytoMatrix tablets are a food-sourced multivitamin/mineral/phytonutrient product containing natural ingredients. They are designed to provide essential vitamins, minerals and standardised amounts of phytonutrients. Our Phyt•Aloe capsules are composed of high-quality fruit and vegetable powders, but they are not standardised. Our Phyt•Aloe capsules are formulated to supplement fruit and vegetable intake, but do not provide the same vitamin, mineral and phytonutrient content as PhytoMatrix tablets. Taking both PhytoMatrix tablets and Phyt•Aloe capsules together may increase the benefit to your health, but one product does not replace the other.
